Important Notes
Installation Path: Cinema 4D 2024.4 installs to the “Maxon Cinema 4D 2024” folder by default, replacing any previous installations, including Cinema 4D 2024.2. This is to streamline builds, minimize migration tasks, reduce disk usage, and keep users updated. You can customize the installation path if you prefer to maintain separate installations for each release. For prior release installers, please contact support.

Connector Object: Updated to support dynamic objects in Rigid Body Simulations.
Multiple Connections: Automatically generate connections on several objects from a single instance.

Particles
Unified Simulation System: New particle simulation approach integrated with Cloth, Rope, Pyro, Soft Bodies, and Rigid Bodies.
Particle Systems: Create particle systems with a simple logic tree setup in the object manager.
Emission Controls: Includes shot, constant, and pulse from shapes, meshes, and splines.
Particle Reproduction: Create new particles from existing ones with inherited properties.
Conditions: Define particle attributes and behaviors, including properties, time conditions, and field conditions.
Grouping: Group particles for use with generators or deformers; doubles as specialized condition objects.
Modifiers: Includes Forces, Math, Kill, Pyro, Colour Mapper, Data Mapper, Size, Look, Spin, Turn, Switch Group.
Proximity-Based Modifiers: Includes Flock, Blend, Stick, Collide, Surface Attractor, Predator Prey.
Caching: Supported through Alembic.
Performance: GPU Accelerated and CPU Supported.
Redshift Compatibility: Works with Redshift Object tag.

Trackfield: A solid field using animation tracks to remap other fields.

VAMP Renamed: VertexMap Attribute Management Processor is now Property Transfer.
Live Property Transfer: Transfer tags from one object to another.
